We specialize in apparel production, collaborating with global vendors and European factories to deliver high-quality products. As a Production Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing communication and coordination between clients, factory teams, and our remote team. This position is ideal for someone with production agency or factory experience, seeking to contribute to impactful product development projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between the remote team, overseas vendors, and European factories to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Communicate regularly with vendors and factories in Europe to coordinate production schedules and address any issues.
- Order specialty trims and materials required for production.
- Proactively manage and prioritize tasks, adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines and resolve urgent issues.
- Review Bills of Materials and process trim orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production goals.
- Track and monitor the delivery status of trims, ensuring orders are on schedule.
- Oversee production timelines and delivery schedules, tracking sample progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Update and manage WIP reports weekly, overseeing the full production lifecycle.
- Address delays, shortages, or issues, notifying shipping centers and stakeholders as needed.
- Participate in and prepare for pre-production and production meetings, creating and presenting required reports.
- Review and approve UPC sticker and care label layouts.
- Resolve production challenges raised by factories.
- Manage all marketing sample requests from clients and coordinate with factories to fulfill them in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Preferably 2-3 years of experience in apparel production and/or product development.
- Experience working in production agencies or factories, with a strong understanding of apparel manufacturing processes, including lead times, garment construction, and quality testing.
- Eager to learn and grow within the fashion industry.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to accuracy and quality.
- Strong communication skills for building productive relationships with clients, vendors, and factories.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
