Job Description

Summary

Manage production planning for private label kids apparel from order commitment through in store delivery in a hybrid headquarters role. Maintain purchase order and work in progress processes, engage with overseas suppliers and internal merchandising and supply chain partners, and drive on time delivery and quality execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage issuing and maintaining purchase order data from commitment to shipment
  • Research and adjust purchase orders to meet business channel requirements
  • Monitor work in progress activities and manage calendar milestones
  • Track final garments for on time delivery and manage exceptions and resolutions
  • Coordinate RTV claims and disposition processes
  • Partner with compliance and logistics on manufacturer adherence to policy
  • Work with accounts payable to research and reconcile PO and invoice cost discrepancies
  • Maintain raw material liabilities and utilization

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ year of high volume retail purchase order management experience
  • Strong problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Oracle or SAP preferred
  • Clear written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Experience with complex vendor management preferred
