Production Planner New Products And Posm

Summary

The Planner will manage product planning and procurement for a dedicated portfolio including finished goods and components, support vendor management, and plan productions at subcontractors. This role is based in the Jersey City office and reports to the Senior Manager Planning. The Planner will use MRP systems such as AX and support launches and POSM Fresh products.

Responsibilities

• Plan procurement of finished goods and components using AX MRP to ensure on time in full deliveries
• Maintain fill rates and launch date commitments at or above corporate targets
• Expedite defer and cancel purchase orders to meet fill rate and inventory turn requirements
• Act as main contact for a portfolio of vendors and manage weekly calls
• Review weekly reports including alerts and analyze reporting from BI tools
• Manage and execute end of life processes
• Resolve daily operational challenges and make timely decisions
• Create action plans with suppliers to address issues

Requirements

• 1-4 years of planning experience
• Excellent knowledge of material requirements planning systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with AX and familiarity with QLIK preferred
• Prior experience in the cosmetic or skincare industry preferred
• Experience in packaging or components manufacturing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make swift decisions
