Job Description

Summary

As a Production Supervisor at Oakley, you will oversee the day-to-day activities within your assigned area, ensuring safety, quality, and production standards are met. Your focus and determination will be crucial in finding solutions and tools to address root causes and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise employee performance on assigned shift, ensuring work meets company standards for safety, quality, production, and waste.
  • Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, and monitoring progress.
  • Develop and implement action plans to meet department goals in labor efficiency, utilization, housekeeping, and productivity improvements.
  • Compile, initiate, sort, and analyze production performance records and data.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects and collaborate with engineering and maintenance departments.
  • Perform regular audits of key processes to ensure optimum performance.
  • Measure and evaluate employee performance according to company standards.
  • Stimulate teamwork and create a positive work environment.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and adherence to company policies and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and effective communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn other systems (SAP).
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and adaptability.
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
