Responsibilities- Supervise employee performance on assigned shift, ensuring work meets company standards for safety, quality, production, and waste.
- Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, and monitoring progress.
- Develop and implement action plans to meet department goals in labor efficiency, utilization, housekeeping, and productivity improvements.
- Compile, initiate, sort, and analyze production performance records and data.
- Work on continuous improvement projects and collaborate with engineering and maintenance departments.
- Perform regular audits of key processes to ensure optimum performance.
- Measure and evaluate employee performance according to company standards.
- Stimulate teamwork and create a positive work environment.
- Ensure a safe work environment and adherence to company policies and safety standards.
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years of manufacturing or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and effective communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn other systems (SAP).
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and adaptability.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
