- Apply industrial engineering techniques to evaluate and improve recommended strategies and programs.
- Provide technical support for new product introductions, ensuring performance, manufacturability, and quality.
- Support qualification and validation of new equipment and processes, implementing new technologies for continuous improvement.
- Lead continuous process improvements using problem-solving and productivity techniques.
- Develop programs to recognize and reward process improvement suggestions and actions.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations and execute corrective and preventative actions.
- Facilitate employee teams to build cohesiveness and improve team results.
- Conduct investigations and tests for new manufacturing methods, materials, or processes.
Requirements- BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) or equivalent.
- 3+ years of manufacturing process improvement experience.
- Experience in evaluating equipment, product and process development, and solving production problems.
- Ability to synthesize solutions to a broad range of problems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven track record of individual and team-based success.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office, MS Project, and statistical packages like Minitab.
- Application of Lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong statistical skills, problem-solving, and data analysis abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability.
- Clear documentation skills.
- Able to rotate from sitting to standing and lift up to 25 pounds.
