Job Description

Summary

As a Production Supervisor, you will evaluate work processes to enhance productivity and efficiency within the company. You will play a key role in developing strategies and programs that improve work processes and support new product introductions.

Responsibilities
  • Gather information to evaluate current work processes, determining flow, time requirements, costs, and duration.
  • Develop strategies and programs to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Apply industrial engineering techniques to evaluate and improve strategies and programs.
  • Provide technical support for new product introductions and new equipment validation.
  • Lead continuous process improvements and instruct others in problem-solving techniques.
  • Develop programs to recognize and reward process improvement suggestions.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations and execute corrective actions.
  • Facilitate employee teams to improve team results.
  • Conduct investigations and tests for new manufacturing methods and processes.
Requirements
  • BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing process improvement experience.
  • Experience in equipment, product, and process development.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office, MS Project, and statistical packages.
  • Application of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong statistical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and adaptability.
  • Clear documentation skills.
  • Able to rotate from sitting to standing and lift up to 25 pounds.
