Summary
Manage small project accounting within Construction and Operations, overseeing project setup through closeout, contract administration, fixed asset classification, and transaction documentation while collaborating across departments and supporting on-site fixture installations. This hybrid role requires in-office presence four days per week in Seattle.
Responsibilities
- Manage contract administration for consultants and general contractors
- Set up and maintain projects in Oracle and purchasing systems
- Review projects for correct fixed asset classification and use tax assessment
- Ensure accurate documentation of project transactions for audit and internal review
- Lead on-site store fixture installation process and travel as needed
- Contribute to daily team functioning and cross train team members
- Review operating practices and implement process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Experience with fixed asset accounting, construction, or property development preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Oracle, Coupa, Concur, Smartsheet is a plus
- Ability to analyze data, make accurate decisions, and create meaningful reports
- Strong mathematical acumen with high accuracy
- High level of curiosity, ownership, initiative, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
