Project Accountant 2

Summary

The Project Accountant 2 supports the Construction and Operations Team by managing small project accounting from project review and setup through final closeout. The role works cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial documentation and effective project administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract administration for consultants and general contractors.
• Set up projects in Oracle and purchasing systems.
• Review projects for correct fixed asset classification and use tax assessment.
• Maintain accurate, organized transaction documentation for audits and internal review.
• Lead on-site store fixture installations, traveling as needed.
• Support team operations, cross-train employees, and identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, accuracy, initiative, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with fixed assets, construction, or property development preferred; Oracle, Coupa, Concur, Smartsheet, and AI experience is a plus.
