Responsibilities- Lead new product development efforts focusing on engineering, manufacturing, cost, and design aesthetic needs.
- Serve as the primary contact with external vendors during development collaboration.
- Execute and maintain all product-specific documentation including project kits and supplemental documents.
- Implement technologically driven solutions to improve product manufacturability, reduce manufacturing cost, and increase manufacturing capacity.
- Support additional manufacturing and engineering-related initiatives as needed.
- Partner with M.E. on execution of technologically-driven solutions while maintaining original design aesthetic.
Requirements- Jewelry industry experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering concentration.
- Experience in new product development and/or manufacturing process improvement.
- Ability to analyze complex engineering problems.
- Knowledge of modern jewelry manufacturing techniques and precious metal metallurgy.
- Qualified CAD knowledge, specifically Rhino software.
- Proven ability to work within a minimal supervision, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) & Oracle software is a plus.
