Project Management Intern

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in project management within a logistics environment. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers, contributing to real-world projects and developing skills in planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. The role provides exposure to various project methodologies and tools, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle.

• Support the logistics team in all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Work with engineers on re-engineering and continuous improvement projects.
• Track project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to technical problem-solving and decision-making.
• Prepare and present project updates and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including external vendors, engineering, design, manufacturing, and procurement.
• Participate in design reviews and other project meetings.

• Pursuing a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of work experience in a logistics or manufacturing operation.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a propensity for learning and finding innovative solutions to complex issues.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma concepts and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all organizational levels.
