Summary
Lead the North America construction team to deliver new store builds, renovations, and refits across multiple channels, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to brand standards. Manage the full project lifecycle from concept through turnover, provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders, and mentor the project management team. Coordinate cross-functionally with Real Estate, Architecture and Design, Legal, and business partners to drive process consistency and execution excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the NA store project management team with clear goals and performance expectations.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of multiple store construction and renovation projects, ensuring quality and schedule adherence.
- Establish and maintain standardized project management processes, tools, and best practices.
- Serve as primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and executive summaries.
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets and detailed schedules, proactively addressing risks and variances.
- Select, negotiate with, and manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.
- Enforce quality control, safety standards, permitting, and compliance with local building regulations.
- Oversee project close-out, punch lists, documentation, and conduct regular site visits across North America.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Significant experience delivering luxury retail or high-end commercial construction projects, including multi-site programs.
- Proven experience managing teams and complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in project management software and MS Office; Smartsheet experience preferred.
- PMP, Prince2, LEED, or similar certification desirable and knowledge of permitting and contract negotiation.
