SummaryAs a Project Manager Interior Design, you will oversee the Store Planning and Construction process for new stores, renovations, and relocations, managing projects from initial feasibility to completion. Based in the New York office, you will report to the Head of Interior Design and Construction.
Responsibilities- Prepare initial project brief with requirements, schedule, and budget.
- Review site conditions and lease provisions for construction activities.
- Liaise with Landlords for design guidelines and construction requirements.
- Coordinate design phase with Store Design Team and cross-functional teams.
- Manage consultants for preparation of construction drawings and documents.
- Drive project milestones and secure permits and manage bid process.
- Oversee construction process to ensure standards, timeline, and budget are met.
- Value engineer with Store Design to respect budget.
- Review construction documents and manage drawing sets.
- Attend and coordinate weekly construction meetings.
- Coordinate shipments of owner-supplied goods and manage store handover.
- Travel for site visits and project meetings as required.
- Perform post-opening project audits and identify areas for improvement.
- Support ongoing research and development programs.
- Identify regional resources for cost and schedule efficiencies.
- Liaise with LVMH Sustainability groups for Green programs and LEED certifications.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Construction Project Management.
- 5+ years of experience in high-end retail projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Office software.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and proactive attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong cultural background and interest in luxury and fashion industry.
