Public Relations Intern

Summary

The PR Intern will support the Communications & Marketing team in a fast-paced environment, assisting with press distribution, reporting, sample management, and agency coordination. This role requires a proactive, organized candidate who can support departmental strategy, research, and administrative tasks. The position is based in New York and works closely with the Senior PR Director and external PR agency.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily internal press distribution and scan key industry outlets
• Support Senior PR Director and PR agency with weekly and monthly press coverage reporting
• Assist with sample inventory processes, arrivals, tracking, and end-of-season closeouts
• Coordinate sample movement, store consignment pulls, and editor appointments; conduct inventory checks across retail network
• Organize and maintain PR and Marketing sample closets and departmental databases
• Support departmental reports, special events, admin tasks, research, list building, and data analysis
• Provide credit details to publications and agencies as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years of relevant agency or in-house fashion PR, marketing, or events experience (internship or full-time)
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and navigate interdepartmental systems and processes
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; familiarity with DMR and FashionGPS
• Curiosity and passion for the industry
