SummaryAs a Quality Engineer at Louis Vuitton's San Dimas location, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Louis Vuitton quality system throughout the plant. Responsibilities- Ensure Louis Vuitton quality criteria are met in all production processes and product development.
- Analyze data and situations to formulate conclusions and solve problems.
- Use problem-solving tools like PDCA, PSM, and root cause analysis to develop solutions.
- Lead PDCA and PSM activities within the organization.
- Complete quality action plans in a timely manner.
- Manage daily quality reporting and documentation.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures and visual aids.
- Provide feedback and communicate pertinent information to the Leadership Team.
- Liaise with LVNA and LVUSM to resolve customer quality issues.
- Provide quality-related training and support to company personnel.
- Support teams in inspecting materials and finished products to meet quality criteria.
- Communicate new quality initiatives and support implementation processes.
- Develop tools and masters for quality inspection throughout the production process.
- Share best practices and lead improvement projects within the company.
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering with emphasis in Quality Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Quality Management.
- Knowledge of lean problem-solving, root cause analysis, and waste-reducing tools.
- Preferred experience in leather or garment manufacturing.
- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills.
- Experience working with teams in production and lean manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
