Responsibilities

• Accept and unload incoming shipments and deliveries
• Inspect merchandise for damage and verify item counts
• Process receipts into inventory systems and update records
• Label and tag items as required for store tracking
• Organize stockroom and maintain orderly storage of inventory
• Prepare merchandise for transfer to sales floor or other locations
• Coordinate with store team on inventory discrepancies
• Follow safety procedures during receiving and handling

Requirements

• Previous retail or warehouse receiving experience preferred
• Basic inventory or stock control knowledge
• Ability to lift and move merchandise safely
• Attention to detail for counting and inspecting items
• Reliable attendance and ability to work part time schedule
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with basic computer or POS systems preferred
