Summary
Responsible for receiving and verifying incoming shipments, inspecting materials and components for quality, organizing inventory, and supporting production flow within the workshop. Works cross-functionally to maintain accurate records and ensure materials are routed to the correct departments to support manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders
- Inspect materials and components for defects, damage, and correct serial or batch numbers
- Organize and maintain inventory with accurate tagging and system updates such as Odoo
- Sort and distribute materials to appropriate production departments based on orders and priorities
- Document receiving activity by recording transactions and maintaining logs
- Manage returns processing including inspection, photographing, and documenting RMAs
- Partner with purchasing, production, drivers, and support teams for timely communication
- Assist with warehouse supply ordering and maintaining a clean safe environment
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or shipping and receiving environments
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy to uphold quality standards
- Familiarity with inventory management platforms; experience with Odoo a plus
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs safely
- Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching during shifts
- Able to work in a workshop or warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
