Receiving Support Associate - Bergen County

Summary

As a Receiving Support Associate you will support store operations by receiving, inspecting, and processing inbound merchandise at the Hackensack store in Bergen County. You will ensure accurate inventory flow, proper labeling, and timely stocking to maintain sales floor readiness. This role requires physical activity and attention to detail to protect merchandise integrity.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Inspect merchandise for damage, sort items, and prepare product for pricing and distribution to the sales floor.
• Accurately record receiving and inventory transactions in the store inventory system.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the receiving area and back-stock.
• Support restocking, cycle counts, and collaborate with the store team on loss prevention.

Requirements

• Previous retail receiving, stock, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes regularly and stand or move for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or point-of-sale systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow receiving procedures.
• Availability to work store hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
