Summary

The Receiving Support Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming merchandise for the store. This role supports inventory flow from the loading dock to the sales floor and stockroom, ensuring accurate counts and proper handling. The position involves operating material-handling equipment and maintaining organized, safe backroom areas.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and inspect shipments; verify item counts and report discrepancies.
• Process merchandise into inventory systems and prepare items for the sales floor or transfers.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Maintain organized, clean stockroom and staging areas.

Requirements

• Previous receiving, warehouse, or stockroom experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks including bending and standing for extended periods.
• Basic numeracy and attention to detail for inventory counts.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned schedule, including weekends as needed.
