Summary

The Receiving Support Associate is responsible for supporting incoming inventory operations at the Short Hills location, ensuring accurate receipt, inspection, and processing of merchandise. This role works with the store receiving team to maintain stock integrity and timely transfer to sales or storage areas. The associate will follow established procedures for documentation and safe handling of products.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
• Unload deliveries and verify item counts against paperwork
• Process and label merchandise for inventory system entry
• Stage products for sales floor or backroom storage
• Maintain organized receiving area and proper storage practices
• Report discrepancies or damaged items to management
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or retail stock role preferred
• Ability to lift and move merchandise safely
• Basic math and attention to detail for counting and paperwork
• Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible hours
• Good communication skills and ability to follow procedures
