Summary

Part-time Receiving Support Associate responsible for assisting with incoming inventory processes and maintaining back-of-house organization at the Short Hills location. Role focuses on accurate receipt, inspection, and processing of merchandise to support store operations. Works closely with the store team to ensure timely stock flow to sales floors.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
• Verify shipment contents against packing lists and invoices
• Process and label merchandise for inventory systems
• Organize stockroom and maintain proper storage conditions
• Assist with backstock replenishment to the sales floor
• Coordinate with store management on discrepancies and returns
• Unload delivery vehicles and handle merchandise safely

Requirements

• Previous retail receiving or stockroom experience preferred
• Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes safely
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems
• Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• Reliable punctuality and ability to work part-time schedule
