SummaryAs a Regional Events Manager based in New York, you will be responsible for executing high-end event communication initiatives throughout the Americas Region, focusing on the New York and Northeast Regions. This temporary role involves planning and managing large-scale corporate events, with a potential duration of up to one year.
Responsibilities- Plan and execute corporate and local strategic events, including VVIP dinners, luncheons, cocktail parties, and special animations.
- Maintain an active communication calendar of programs, events, and ROI.
- Assist in developing event concepts and manage all components from start to finish.
- Manage production agencies and vendors to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and budget.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors for optimal pricing and performance.
- Collaborate with legal and procurement for compliance and documentation.
- Develop and maintain a network of trusted vendors and partners.
- Create and monitor budgets for network programs.
- Gather, review, and approve invoices.
- Nurture relationships with Regional Directors and boutique leadership for successful event execution.
- Present event concepts and collaborate cross-departmentally for 360 success.
- Compile event recaps and apply best practices for future projects.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree and over five years of experience in managing events or hospitality within the Luxury or Jewelry sector.
- Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated attitude.
- Proactive, flexible, innovative, and passionate with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time, including international destinations.
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP, CAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop is a plus.
- French language skills are a plus.
