Summary
The Regional Facilities Service Technician maintains and improves store facilities across the assigned Los Angeles region, performing hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and acting as the on-site liaison for contractors. The role manages work orders using a CMMS, supports capital improvement projects, conducts routine safety inspections, and travels regularly between stores. The technician ensures store presentation and operational standards are upheld to enhance the guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned store locations to perform general repairs including paint touch-ups, carpentry, minor plumbing, electrical work, fixture replacement, and basic HVAC troubleshooting.
- Inspect facilities during visits, log issues, and manage work orders and records in the CMMS platform by the end of each shift.
- Serve as on-site point of contact for third-party contractors, oversee work, verify quality at completion, and coordinate vendor schedules.
- Execute and track preventative maintenance schedules and escalate recurring issues to the Regional Facilities Manager for long-term resolution.
- Support capital improvement projects across preparation, execution, and post-project inspection phases.
- Perform routine safety inspections and report OSHA or workplace safety violations to the Manager on Duty; be available for after-hours or emergency work as required.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work, including fixture replacement; able to troubleshoot minor HVAC issues.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, and experience using CMMS or work order management systems.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel regionally, including overnight stays when required.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities independently, and clear proactive communication with managers and store teams.
- Construction drawing literacy is a plus; comfortable overseeing third-party contractors and enforcing quality standards.
