Summary
Lead and execute visual merchandising strategy across West Coast retail and wholesale locations, overseeing window creativity, interior displays, capsule activations, and a team of Area Visual Merchandising Managers. Ensure alignment with global brand guidelines while adapting installations to local business needs and drive VM initiatives through frequent travel and cross functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Implement and reinforce seasonal visual merchandising guidelines across retail and wholesale locations
- Conduct regular store visits to launch collections, refresh displays, assess standards, and provide feedback
- Collaborate with retail, wholesale, merchandising, operations, marketing, and store planning teams
- Meet with senior VM leadership to define priorities, training, succession, and installation strategies
- Lead delivery of high visibility projects including pop ups, trunk shows, and special events
- Manage onsite execution of windows and VM rotations in top image locations
- Adapt global VM guidelines to local store design, assortment, and business strategy
- Develop relationships with wholesale partners and department store stakeholders
- Organize and deliver VM training and onboarding across the region
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of visual merchandising and window styling experience
- Multiple store management experience in retail and wholesale channels
- Proven team leadership and people development skills
- Strong visual, styling, and creative merchandising background
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to 75% with valid driver's license and passport
- Luxury retail experience desired
