Summary
Lead visual merchandising for multiple West Coast locations, driving window creativity, interior displays, and capsule activations to align local business strategy with global brand standards. Manage and develop a team of Area Visual Merchandising Managers, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and travel frequently to ensure execution in top image doors.
Responsibilities
- Implement and reinforce seasonal visual merchandising guidelines across retail and wholesale locations
- Conduct regular store visits to launch collections, refresh displays, assess standards, and provide feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align VM initiatives with business objectives
- Meet with VP of Visual Merchandising to define priorities including training and succession planning
- Lead delivery of high-visibility special projects such as pop-ups and trunk shows
- Manage weekly touch bases with area managers to align on results, rotations, and installation planning
- Onsite execute windows and VM rotations in top image locations and provide remote feedback throughout rotation lifecycle
- Adapt global visual guidelines to local store design, assortment, and business strategy
- Plan and facilitate VM training and support new store openings and peak season strategies
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in visual merchandising and window styling
- Experience managing multiple stores across retail and wholesale channels
- Demonstrated team leadership and people development skills
- Strong visual, creative, and executional skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead remotely
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to 75% with valid driver’s license and passport
