Repair And Maintenance Manager

Summary

The Repair and Maintenance Manager supports CHANEL Canada's store planning team across fashion, fragrance and beauty, and watches and fine jewelry. This six-month fixed-term role coordinates repairs and maintenance for the Oakridge Boutique and develops preventative maintenance programs with a focus on sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect sites and gather repair and maintenance requirements.
• Communicate site needs and schedule work with contractors, trades, artists, and vendors.
• Maintain vendor relationships, negotiate processes, and conduct competitive bidding.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs and conduct lifecycle analyses to plan repair work.
• Assess quotes, write purchase orders, and manage an annual budget.

Requirements

• Background in design or architecture.
• Knowledge of furniture, millwork, artwork, architectural finishes, floor plans, local regulations, and building codes.
• Experience assessing quotes, preparing purchase orders, and managing budgets.
• Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD.
• Ability to respond to urgent requests and travel within Canada; French is an asset.
