Summary
The Hybrid Replenishment Associate and Demand Forecaster is a strategic partner responsible for driving accurate demand forecasts, managing balanced receipt flow and efficient inventory to meet customer demand while supporting financial goals. This role bridges forecasting and replenishment functions, working cross functionally with Buying and Planning teams and suppliers to deliver data driven recommendations and improve forecast accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Create accurate demand forecasts and inventory and receipt plans aligned to customer demand and merchandise strategy.
- Drive pre season planning through scenario analysis and actionable recommendations.
- Own replenishment item performance and maintain item level plans while communicating risks and opportunities.
- Identify assortment and inventory health gaps and recommend improvements.
- Manage open to buy through sharing receipt spend and flow to ensure financial alignment.
- Partner with suppliers to understand capabilities trends and build vendor relationships.
- Participate in merchandising meetings to present replenishment insights and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate item attributes and default settings to support forecast integrity.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy and inventory efficiency.
Requirements
- 1+ year as a Replenishment Associate or Demand Forecaster or 2+ years in retail merchandise planning or related field.
- Strong analytical and decision making skills with statistics proficiency preferred.
- Experience managing high SKU high revenue or seasonal categories.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross functional teams using data and insights.
- Customer first mindset and strong understanding of the retail environment.
- Effective communication skills with cross functional and external partners.
- Experience leading supplier negotiations and cultivating long term partnerships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and planning and forecasting tools.
- Growth mindset embracing change and continuous improvement.
