Summary
Lead and grow the interior design trade business within the Gallery by building and inspiring a high-performing team, representing the brand in the design community, and delivering a luxury client experience. The role requires refined taste, polished presentation, project oversight, and collaboration with the Gallery Leader to develop trade strategies.
Responsibilities
- Grow and lead the interior design trade business within the Gallery
- Build, lead, educate and inspire a team dedicated to servicing the interior design trade
- Work with the Gallery Leader to develop strategies for the trade business
- Lead and oversee multiple trade projects of varying size and scope
- Learn and communicate the design point of view and product assortment
- Represent the company at design community events and through networking
- Remain current on local and global design publications and industry trends
- Support trade business in other Galleries by sharing learnings and best practices
- Deliver first-class service to clients and teams creating a luxury experience
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in a high-end interior design showroom or similar luxury setting
- Proven ability to motivate, influence and inspire a team
- Superior organization, leadership, analytical and decision-making skills
- Commitment to quality with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
- Ability to read and understand floor plans
- Valid driver s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally and out of state
- Ability to lift items up to 25 lbs and maneuver around Gallery spaces
