Summary
The Residential Trade Leader grows and leads the interior design trade business within the Gallery. This role delivers a luxury experience for clients and teams while building a successful trade services team.
Responsibilities
- Lead, educate, and inspire a team dedicated to servicing the interior design trade.
- Partner with the Gallery Leader to develop trade business strategies and oversee projects of varying size and scope.
- Communicate the design point of view and product assortment, represent the Gallery at design events, and network within the design community.
- Stay current on design publications and industry trends, and share best practices with other Galleries.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a high-end interior design showroom or similar luxury setting.
- Proven ability to motivate, influence, and inspire a team, with strong organization and leadership skills.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Google applications; ability to read and understand floor plans.
- Current driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to travel locally and out of state.
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 pounds and perform the physical activities required in a Gallery setting.
