Summary
Lead and grow the residential trade business within the Gallery by delivering a luxury experience to trade clientele and building a high-performing team. Partner with the Gallery Leader and cross functional teams to develop strategies, oversee trade projects, and ensure fiscal goals are met. Serve as a subject matter expert in luxury design, providing consultations, site visits and project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Provide a luxury experience for trade clientele through product expertise and elevated service
- Lead and grow the residential trade business within the Gallery
- Build, lead, educate and inspire a team focused on interior design trade customers
- Partner with the Gallery Leader to develop trade strategies
- Lead and oversee multiple trade projects of varying size and scope
- Qualify and develop relationships with potential and existing trade clients via consultations and site visits
- Coordinate internally for services and project installations
- Communicate and work with cross functional teams at all levels
- Ensure fiscal goals are achieved and maintain relevance within the design community
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in a high-end interior design showroom, luxury retailer or design firm
- Proven relationship-driven success working with the interior design trade community
- Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building a trade business
- Superior organization, leadership and communication skills
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Ability to interpret and understand floor plans
- Ability to travel locally or out of state and handle moderate lifting up to 25 lbs
