Summary
The Retail Coordinator will support the Vice President of Retail for US and Canada from the Los Angeles area, acting as a partner to execute regional retail strategy and business priorities. This role provides executive support, coordinates projects and leadership meetings, monitors retail performance, and prepares presentations and reporting. The coordinator will serve as a liaison between store leadership and AMER corporate teams to ensure timely execution and strong communication across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day executive support to the Vice President of Retail, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, and meeting preparation.
- Track retail projects, deadlines, and deliverables, coordinating with stakeholders and following up to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor business performance, commercial targets and KPIs; prepare recurring and ad-hoc reporting and identify trends or areas of concern.
- Prepare presentations, business reviews, reports, and meeting materials translating data into clear, polished materials.
- Coordinate retail leadership meetings and regional calls, manage agendas and follow-up on key actions.
- Act as a liaison between the Vice President, store leadership, and corporate departments to streamline communication and support store teams.
- Support new store openings, refurbishments, relocations, onboarding of Store Directors, and regional activations.
- Support implementation and adoption of retail tools across Client Engagement, Training, Merchandising, Operations and Omnichannel, and follow up on customer experience results.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in retail, project coordination, business operations, executive support, or a related environment; luxury or fashion retail experience preferred.
- Strong business acumen and comfort working with data, KPIs, and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with strong presentation skills; strong proficiency in Excel, Teams and other Office tools.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with proven project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented, with strong follow-through and the ability to work independently; ability to travel as needed.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with confidence working with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
