Job Description

Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Retail Intern to join our team in New York. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a luxury retail environment, assisting with administrative tasks and contributing to key retail operations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the RIMOWA Retail Leadership Teams and gain insights into successful retail strategies.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of exclusive in-store activations to enhance the client journey.
  • Collaborate with diverse roles within the RIMOWA team to deliver an unparalleled client experience.
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks to ensure the store operates with precision.
  • Learn to interpret sales data and understand its impact on strategic business decisions.
  • Engage with RIMOWA store leaders to gain insights into their roles and leadership philosophies.
  • Develop communication and presentation skills by articulating key brand messages.
  • Observe store leadership meetings to understand strategic planning processes.
  • Receive personalized mentorship from the Retail leadership team.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a BA or BS degree from an accredited university.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • Exposure to design software such as Canva or Photoshop is a plus.
  • Eagerness to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Developing analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills with the potential to interact professionally with colleagues.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
