Retail Leadership Training Program - Alderwood Mall

Summary

An accelerated retail leadership training program running March 23 to May 15, 2026 at Alderwood Mall including a 2-week Nordstrom Rack rotation. Trainees will learn management essentials, sales and merchandising, and may be placed as Assistant Department Managers within 20 miles of the training store upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily sales through active selling and customer relationship building
• Learn and apply merchandising standards and goal setting
• Participate in all training sessions and store rotations including a Rack rotation
• Lead and motivate peers during training exercises and team activities
• Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold company core values
• Network with leaders and peers across Nordstrom and Rack
• Work evenings and weekends as required

Requirements

• At least 1 year retail experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated leadership potential
• Ability to sell and meet or exceed sales goals
• Availability for the full program duration and interviews timeline
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and accept placement within 20 miles
• Ability to provide own transportation for the 2-week Rack rotation
