Retail Leadership Training Program - Barton Creek Square Mall

Summary

Accelerated retail leadership training program running March 23 to May 15, 2026 at Barton Creek Square Mall with a two-week Nordstrom Rack rotation. Trainees learn management essentials, selling, merchandising, and operational standards and will be placed as Assistant Department Managers within 20 miles upon successful completion. The program requires full participation in training sessions and store rotations and includes evening and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily sales through selling and building customer relationships
• Lead and motivate teams while delivering exceptional customer service
• Participate in a two-week Nordstrom Rack rotation to learn fast paced operations
• Learn and apply merchandising, goal setting, and operational standards
• Network with leaders and peers across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack
• Attend and participate fully in all training sessions and store rotations
• Accept placement within 20 miles of the training store after program completion

Requirements

• 1+ year retail experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and passion for leadership
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and accept placement within 20 miles
• Availability for duration of the program
• Ability to provide own transportation for the Rack rotation
• Comfortable with selling and meeting sales goals
