Retail Leadership Training Program - Fashion Valley

Summary

Accelerated retail leadership training program running March 23 to May 15, 2026 with a two-week Nordstrom Rack rotation at Fashion Valley. Trainees receive hands-on selling and management experience and are placed as Assistant Department Managers at Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack stores within 20 miles upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily sales through active selling and customer relationship building
• Lead and motivate teams while delivering exceptional customer service
• Participate in all training sessions and store rotations including a two-week Rack rotation
• Learn merchandising, goal setting, and operational standards
• Network with leaders and peers across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack
• Demonstrate Nordstrom core values and create an inclusive environment
• Be flexible to work evenings weekends and multiple locations as required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and passion for leadership
• Availability for the full program duration
• Ability to work evenings weekends and accept placement within 20 miles
• Provide own transportation for the two-week Rack rotation
• Comfortable with selling and meeting sales goals
