Retail Leadership Training Program - Kenwood Towne Centre

Summary

Accelerated Retail Leadership Training Program running March 23 to May 15, 2026 at Kenwood Towne Centre with a 2-week Nordstrom Rack rotation. Trainees will learn management essentials, selling, merchandising, and operations with the goal of placement as Assistant Department Managers within 20 miles of the training store upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Participate fully in all training sessions and store rotations including a Nordstrom Rack rotation
• Drive sales daily through active selling and building customer relationships
• Learn and apply merchandising and operational standards
• Lead and motivate teams while delivering exceptional customer service
• Network with leaders and peers across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack
• Attend interviews and program dates as scheduled
• Work evenings and weekends as required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and passion for leadership
• Availability for the full duration of the program
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and accept placement within 20 miles of the training store
• Ability to provide transportation for the 2-week Rack rotation
• Comfortable with selling and meeting sales goals
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
