Retail Leadership Training Program - Santa Anita

Summary

Accelerated retail leadership training program running March 23 to May 15, 2026 with a two-week rotation at a Nordstrom Rack. Trainees learn management essentials, selling, merchandising, and operations with the goal of placement as Assistant Department Manager within 20 miles of the training store.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily sales and meet or exceed sales goals
• Build and maintain customer relationships while delivering exceptional service
• Lead and motivate teams during training and rotations
• Learn and apply merchandising and goal setting practices
• Participate in all training sessions and store rotations including a Rack rotation
• Support inclusive and welcoming team environments
• Be available to work evenings and weekends

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and interest in leadership
• Availability for full program duration March 23 to May 15
• Flexibility to work multiple locations and accept placement within 20 miles
• Ability to provide own transportation for the two-week Rack rotation
• Comfortable with selling and meeting sales targets
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
