Job Description

Summary

Accelerated retail leadership training program running March 23 to May 15, 2026 at Southpark with a two-week Nordstrom Rack rotation. Trainees receive hands-on selling and management training and are placed as Assistant Department Managers upon successful completion within 20 miles of the training store.

Responsibilities

  • Drive daily sales through customer engagement and selling
  • Build customer relationships and deliver exceptional service
  • Lead and motivate teams during training activities
  • Learn merchandising, goal setting, and operational standards
  • Participate in store rotations including a two-week Rack rotation
  • Network with leaders and peers across stores
  • Attend and engage fully in all training sessions

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year retail experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and passion for leadership
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Flexibility to work multiple locations and accept placement within 20 miles
  • Availability for program duration and ability to provide transportation for Rack rotation
  • Comfortable with selling and meeting sales goals
  • Willingness to complete interviews and program schedule
