Retail Leadership Training Program - Valley Fair

Summary

Accelerated retail leadership training program running March 23 to May 15, 2026 based at Valley Fair with a two-week Nordstrom Rack rotation. Trainees learn management essentials, hands-on selling, merchandising, and operations with the goal of placement as Assistant Department Managers within 20 miles of the training store.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales daily and meet or exceed sales goals
• Build customer relationships and deliver legendary service
• Lead and motivate teams while supporting a welcoming inclusive environment
• Participate in all training sessions and store rotations
• Learn merchandising, goal setting, and operational standards
• Rotate through a Nordstrom Rack store for two weeks to learn fast paced operations
• Be flexible to work evenings weekends and at multiple locations

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and passion for leadership
• Availability for the full program dates
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Willingness to accept placement within 20 miles of the training store
• Ability to provide own transportation for the Rack rotation
• Comfortable with selling and meeting sales goals
