Retail Leadership Training Program - Walnut Creek

The Nordstrom Retail Leadership Training Program (RLTP) is an accelerated leadership training program designed to develop future leaders in retail management. Trainees will gain firsthand experience as fashion sales experts, acquire critical leadership skills, and learn the Nordstrom experience through customer interactions. Successful completion of the 9-week program may lead to eligibility for full-time Assistant Department Manager positions across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores.

• Rotate to a nearby Nordstrom Rack store to learn leadership structure and inventory management.
• Network within the market and engage in learning sessions during the training program.

• 1+ year retail experience preferred.
• Desire to be a people leader in a fashion retail environment.
• Ability to provide excellent customer experience while meeting company goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated.
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and adapt to changing schedules.
