Retail Leadership Training Program - Washington Square

Summary

An accelerated retail leadership training program based at Washington Square with a two-week Nordstrom Rack rotation. Runs March 23 to May 15, 2026 and leads to placement as an Assistant Department Manager within 20 miles of the training store upon successful completion. Participants will gain management essentials, hands-on selling experience, and operational knowledge through rotations and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily sales and meet or exceed sales goals
• Sell to customers and build strong customer relationships
• Lead and motivate teams while delivering exceptional customer service
• Learn and apply merchandising and operational standards
• Participate fully in training sessions and store rotations including a Nordstrom Rack rotation
• Network with leaders and peers across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack
• Be flexible to work evenings weekends and at multiple locations

Requirements

• At least 1 year retail experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and passion for leadership
• Availability for the full program duration
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Willingness to accept placement within 20 miles of the training store
• Ability to provide own transportation for the Rack rotation
• Comfortable with selling and meeting sales targets
