Retail Leadership Training Program - Westchester

Summary

Accelerated retail leadership training program running March 23 to May 15, 2026 with a two week Nordstrom Rack rotation. Trainees receive hands on selling and management training and will be placed as Assistant Department Managers at Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack stores within 20 miles of the training store upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily sales by building customer relationships and delivering exceptional service
• Participate in a two week Nordstrom Rack rotation to learn fast paced operations
• Learn merchandising standards goal setting and operational procedures
• Lead and motivate teams during training exercises and store rotations
• Attend and participate fully in all training sessions and networking opportunities
• Embody company values to create a welcoming inclusive environment
• Accept placement within 20 miles of the training store after program completion

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated leadership potential
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and accept placement within 20 miles
• Availability for the full program duration March 23 to May 15 2026
• Ability to provide own transportation for the two week Rack rotation
• Comfortable with selling and meeting sales goals
