Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

  • Support the Manager of Men’s Leather Goods & Accessories in daily merchandising activities, such as shop-to-shop product transfers, consolidations, inventory replenishments, and assortment planning for commercial events.
  • Assists the Manager in analyzing the Men’s Leather Goods and Accessories business, with a focus on weekly sales performance, trends, and generating qualitative insights based on quantitative assessments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze sales performance by product category / material / function / store to prepare necessary reports on a weekly basis
  • Build charts and PowerPoint presentations to summarize sales performance analysis at weekly business review meeting
  • Make transfers of products between stores or markets, based on the monitoring of stock in the stores and the indications provided by the Merchandising Manager or requests from stores
  • Handle restocking of products for the shops in US market
  • Monitor the performance of sales in the shops in USA market to ensure the correct mix of products in the shop
  • Provide support to the Retail Merchandising team in the preparation of orders for the US, Canadian, and Latin American markets, including unit entry, sizing scale, and by-store allocation
  • Develop analyses required by the Merchandising Manager for specific focus areas week to week
  • Maintain regular communications with stores in regards to product transfers, seasonal price changes, style cancellations, deliveries, etc.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly as it relates to managing and updating large datasets in Excel
  • 1+ years of experience in an analytical or merchandising coordinator role
  • Experience with SAP for inventory management preferred

Compensation

This position will pay an annualized salary of $70,000-$80,000 and if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities. The rate of pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
