Summary
The Retail Operations Manager will support the VP, Retail and regional leaders to align front of house and back of house processes, drive commercial KPIs, and coordinate business operational activities across stores and central departments. This role partners with IT, logistics, finance, facilities, and loss prevention to ensure consistent implementation of standards and efficient store operations.
Responsibilities
- Assess and document store policies and procedures and recommend improvements.
- Support inventory control initiatives including training and semi-annual inventories.
- Implement and train store teams on loss prevention programs and audits.
- Coordinate with IT on POS and back office systems and assist with training.
- Work with logistics on merchandise movement and resolve store issues.
- Collaborate with finance and leadership to define sales transaction standards and support P&L operations.
- Oversee facilities maintenance and coordinate repairs and improvements with store planning.
- Assess and improve boutique reporting and communications to stores and stakeholders.
- Support store openings, family sales, and management of operations coordinators and supervisors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar retail operations role.
- Strong background in retail operations and process implementation.
- Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Salesforce, Cognos, or Qliksense.
- Highly organized, proactive, and result oriented in a fast paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work cross functionally.
- Ability to manage and develop team members and oversee multiple projects.
