Summary
The Retail Operations Manager will support the VP, Retail and regional leaders by aligning front of house and back of house processes with company standards to drive store performance and commercial KPIs. This role partners with stores, corporate divisions and central departments to manage operational activities, systems, reporting and loss prevention while supporting openings and special events.
Responsibilities
- Assess and document store policies and procedures and recommend improvements
- Support inventory control including training, scheduling and semi annual inventories
- Implement and train teams on loss prevention programs and procedures
- Coordinate with IT on POS back office telecom and store systems and assist in training
- Work with logistics on merchandise movement and resolve store related issues
- Collaborate with finance and leadership to define sales transaction standards and support P and L operations
- Oversee facilities maintenance and coordinate repairs and improvements with third parties
- Assess and improve boutique reporting and communicate changes to stores and stakeholders
- Support store openings supervise operations staff and manage special sales events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar retail operations position
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel knowledge including pivot tables and macros
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Salesforce Cognos or Qliksense
- Highly organized proactive and able to work in a high paced environment
- Result oriented with strong communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments
