Summary

The Retail Outlet Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving merchandise shipments, inspecting items for accuracy and quality, and ensuring timely processing of inbound inventory at the outlet location. This part time role supports store operations by maintaining organized stockrooms and coordinating with store team members to facilitate product flow to the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments at the outlet location.
• Inspect merchandise for damages and verify shipment contents against packing lists.
• Sort and tag inventory for storage or transfer to the sales floor.
• Maintain organized and clean stockroom and receiving areas.
• Accurately record received items in inventory systems or logs.
• Coordinate with sales floor associates to replenish merchandise as needed.
• Follow loss prevention and safety procedures during receiving operations.

Requirements

• Previous retail or warehouse receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move boxes and merchandise safely.
• Basic math and inventory record keeping skills.
• Reliable punctuality and ability to work part time schedule.
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting shipments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with store team members.
