Job Description

Summary

As a Retail Regional Director at Montblanc, you will oversee the retail network and its deliverables, inspiring teams and cultivating partnerships across the network. You will lead by example in driving execution of the vision, operational decision making, with a strong focus on client experience and hospitality. Your success will come from a sense of ownership of your business, growing leaders, and creating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and pride.

Responsibilities
  • Manage delivery of KPIs, Operational Excellence, and Retail signature.
  • Achieve sales budgets and diversification targets for the region.
  • Ensure the region is an example of best practice as per brand guidelines.
  • Create specific business plans per boutique and facilitate discussions with boutique managers.
  • Coach, develop, and maximize the success of all boutique managers and their teams.
  • Develop new business ideas that elevate clientelling opportunities.
  • Partner with VP and Human Resources on staffing and development issues.
  • Manage P&L including monitoring and controlling boutique business expenses.
  • Ensure Loss Prevention policies and practices are followed within the boutiques.
  • Perform special projects as designated by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of multi-store retail management experience.
  • Affinity for luxury goods; Watch and jewelry experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage a P&L.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Challenges the status quo and presents different points of view.
  • High level of etiquette – business and social.
  • Ability to travel extensively (80%).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); SAP preferred.
