Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital channels including text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow customer following
- Provide excellent customer service and honest feedback on style and fit
- Use product and fashion knowledge to advise customers and drive sales
- Fill orders, stock merchandise, remerchandise displays, and perform price markdowns
- Perform light cleaning to keep the department customer ready
- Open new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts to grow relationships
- Be flexible to occasionally perform duties in other departments as business needs require
Requirements
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Self motivated and goal oriented with strong interest in using technology to achieve sales
- Ability to excel in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced setting
- Organization and strong follow through
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Capable of continuous movement for 6 to 8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and manipulation and ability to lift up to 25 pounds
