Summary
Hiring event for multiple seasonal and regular retail sales and support roles at a department store location. Positions include sales, beauty, fulfillment, delivery, and management level counter roles with on-the-spot interviews and offers during the event.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers on the sales floor
- Perform sales transactions and follow store policies at point of sale
- Support stock, fulfillment, and delivery tasks including lifting and moving merchandise
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep sales floor organized
- Operate beauty counter duties for beauty sales and promotion
- Participate in hiring event interviews and potentially accept on-the-spot offers
- Assist with returns exchanges and customer inquiries
- Follow loss prevention and safety procedures while handling merchandise
Requirements
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation
- Capability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds; up to 50 pounds for stock roles
- Customer service orientation and strong communication skills
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred for some roles
- Availability to attend the hiring event and complete approximately one hour interview
- Eligibility to work in the United States and pass background checks where required
