Salesperson responsible for driving in-store and digital sales for kids apparel and shoes, building customer relationships, providing styling and fit guidance, and supporting department operations. Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling using tools such as text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow customer following
- Provide excellent customer service and honest style and fit feedback
- Open new customer accounts in the rewards program to grow relationships
- Perform department tasks including filling orders, stocking, remerchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
- Collaborate with team members to keep the department customer ready
- Work a flexible schedule that varies by week based on business needs
- Occasionally perform duties in departments other than the hire department when required
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong interest in using networking and technology for sales
- Ability to excel in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced setting
- Organization and strong follow through
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Capability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation and ability to handle bulky items
- Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
