Retail Sales

Summary

Provide exceptional fashion styling and customer service to build lasting relationships and achieve sales goals both in-store and through digital channels. Use selling tools including text and social media to grow a customer following and support Nordstrom Rewards enrollment. Maintain department presentation and assist with merchandising, pricing, and order fulfillment while working a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve individual and department sales goals for in-store and digital selling
• Engage customers to build lasting relationships and promote loyalty
• Provide styling advice and honest feedback on fit and product selection
• Use networking and technology to reach sales targets including text and social media
• Assist with filling orders, stocking, remerchandising, and price markdowns
• Open new customer accounts for the rewards program
• Work collaboratively with team members to keep the department customer ready
• Occasionally perform duties in other departments as business needs require
